This is one of my all-time favourite snacks! I think we often underestimate simplicity. Simple foods are easy to digest and make us feel good! Mangoes are a simple fruit that provide a whole lotta nutrition. Not only are they absolutely delicious, naturally sweet and rich in tropical flavours, but mangoes contain high antioxidant levels, which can help prevent hundreds of diseases, including various cancers. They are also packed with vitamin C to help our immune system fight off any nasty bugs and contain fibre which helps our body digest sugars. They also help break down the protein in our body. Mangoes are an amazing fruit to eat for healthy, clear skin. You can also use mango for outer skin care, but that’s a whole other blog post! I could go on and on about how amazing mangoes are, but you guys probably already got that covered. I love sprinkling dried coconut chips on top for a crunchy, nutritional superfood boost! Coconuts are also definitely one of the most versatile, best foods for you. I like to sprinkle a tablespoon of raw hemp seeds overtop for some protein, as well. This snack is an all-around nutritionally delicious option and I think you will become addicted, just like me!
- 1-2 ripe mangoes
- 2 tbsp coconut chips
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- 1 tsp agave syrup, optional
- Slice the mangoes into cubes. Sprinkle the coconut chips and hemp seeds on top and drizzle the agave on to finish! Enjoy fresh!
